With all the chatter on that other thread about slidin' boards the question begs:
What's the best, most sturdiest boards for hitting sliders?
Don't say the 1990 something 10 lb. Wake Tech board either, I'm talking about current sticks on the market (yes, that was scarcasm).

David,

I know Hyperlite has a new base called "Jib-Base" on some of their new boards for 2003. Its on all of the Byerlys and Premiers and most (if not all) of the DNA Core boards. Its basically a base thats softer (its hard to describe, but you can kind of sink your fingernails into it). Anyways, it slows down your board when youre on a rail. I tried a Premier with Jib Base at OWC, and I could tell a difference from a regular board. I'm not really up on too many other board brands besides Hyperlite, but if you go for a Hyperlite, get jib base.
