So, I have my new Watson board, and I'm thinking about selling my old Substance 142, but I don't know if I should. I'm planning on building a slider, and was thinking that it would be a good slider board, since I don't want to break my new board on a slider, whereas I wouldn't really worry about my old one breaking all that much.

How often have you guys had boards break on sliders? Where do they usually break? And how much weight would you say a Watson 142 would stretch the limits of a Watson 142 on a 6-8 inch wide slider? I'm 240 (plan on losing a bunch of that here towards the beginning of the summer with P90X, starting full blast next week), so I don't know how that would effect this.

I really need the money, but at the same time can't afford to break a new board on a slider, since LF's warranty doesn't cover slider damage.

don't use any board on a slider that you don't plan on getting trashed.

you won't get much for an "old" board, unless it's really old and some sort of collector, so i say keep it and don't risk the new watson.

You'll trash your board easily on sliders. You'll lose a fin within your first 10-15 slides
