I noticed while driving today that my Perfect Pass was having trouble holding speed accurately. I messed with the KDW & NN a little but would like to know what settings everyone is using on theirs...

Not sure about the NN, but I have the KDW set at 160. I went from 90 and I can tell a big difference in the way the boat hold speeds. BTW I run about 2400lbs.

I don't think you need to mess with the NN. I have a 1997 205D (1800 lbs) and my friend has a 00 xstar (1500 plus internal ballast). We both run KDW at 120-130.

We have been trying a bunch of differnt settings but are currently at 120 and 120 with about 1800 lbs.

Handles fine, holds speed good, pretty smooth. The one weird thing about ours (wkbd pro) is that it is consistently holding at speeds over the set one. Not hunting, no problems slowing down after turns...just consistently too fast by about 0.5 mph. Anyone know what to do about that?

Fredrik- Mine does the same thing. It holds speed fine it's just faster than the set speed.

I don't have a MC but I was told by PP that you should start out with the KDW at 80 and the NN at 180 and adjust from there. At first I was under the impression that there was no need to change the NN setting however PP told me this is the one that needs to be adjust not the KDW. If the KDWis adjusted it should only be slightly. Well I went with this advice and the PP now is truely perfect. Holds speed to within .3+/- even in the turns and the double up. I finally settled on a KDW of 80 and a NN of 130. Thats with about 1700 lbs of ballast.
