Honestly?
waste of money. Although I personally would choose a Titanium domed compression driver, even this unit would walk all over even 3 possibly 4 db 6 x 9s.
What some people are missing with the implementation of compression drivers is that since they are so efficient in producing high freq. volume, you have to have a lot of lower freq output to keep up. More simply stated, car audio will not cut it when mixing with a compression driver as the high frequency transducer.
IMO, it's a near waste of space and power to put car audio woofers next to an efficient compression driver.
D out

I have to agree with Duane. I feel that it would just provide lots of noise (like fingernails on a chalkboard).

Now if you want to devote a chapter of your life to crossover development you could remove those Polks and replace them with these:

I have been there and it's a lot of work.

maybe 40-60 hours of testing before I got something that I am happy with.
