I need suggestions and wiring diagram to install a second battery for the sound system in a 2001 V210

Should I use a Perko switch or isolator (diode v silenoid)? Here's where I need the wiring diagram. I read somewhere when using an isolator the red wire going to the circut breaker should be removed and conected directly to the positive post on the starter battery? also the 90 amp fuse seperating the altenator lead from the starter silenoid, should it be removed?

Don do a search. There are alot 2nd battery threads on here. They should answer alot of your questions.

Perko's are popular and work well but they are manually operated. Most diode isolators have a voltage drop to the batteries(bad). Relays work well with minimal voltage loss. The best option from what I've read seems to be the HellRoaring isolator but its spendy. I use a perko and haven't looked back
