Sorry for the noob questions but, I was wondering if someone can tell me what the difference between a continuous and 3 stage rocker is and what the pros and cons of each are.

Also, can someone tell me what the difference is among the different types of fins available and what the pros and cons of each fin are.

Thanks!

Both rockers and fins are based on personal preference, everyone likes something different. the rocker is te shape of the underneath of the board, a continuous rocker is smooth and will be easy to ride, whereas a 3-stage has an agressive shape which will allow the rider to go faster, higher, and cut more sharply if the riders ability is upto that level, an advanced board is pretty much useless to a beginner because you realy cant controll it properly.

Fins help you cut through the water ore smoothly but reduce your pop off the wake, in my opinion fins are a waste of time, dont use them at all.
