I am out almost all summer here in the heat and the vinyl in my boat never really bothers me. I have light grey and dark grey seat roll. The dark grey is a more textured vinyl and have never really noticed it being hot. The light grey is almost impossible to keep clean due to our mud lakes. The small texture in the smoother vinyl seems to collect dirt from the water that drips on them.
However I do have a black and orange boat and the black top deck is stupid. I think the black top deck might just be the dumbest thing I have ever done and the list is long. The top deck will scald your feet when putting boards on the racks and your arm pits if you relax in the rear seats to much.

Metal flake green X in the cupholder areas green fiberglass swim platform if thats possible. black trailer green fenders and black wheels. Green LED interior.

White boat with blue MB on the side. white fiberglass interior with blue X in the cupholder area. blue interior with white piping or accents. white tower with chrome board racks. blue fiberglass swim platform. white trailer then chrome or white fenders (couldnt decide) then blue to finish the back of the trailer off. then add chrome wheels and of course blue LED's

Chase I am thinking about doing idea two myself. Thinking of going almost all white with light blue and maybe silver metallic. Then blue interior and tower with white and metallic speakers, white trailer and chrome rims.

I'm going to say Ben has an early lead....
You know I'm partial to black and red..
Just so you know, we sold a custom lime green metal flake boat last night and I'm waiting to hear from the supplier Monday to confirm availability... That thing is going to be dirty dirty... I'll post pics for sure when it's ready.

Chatt, I considered pink a while back and just couldnt do it man.. the buying audience would be so limited that it would probably not make sense...
We were offered a Texas flag edition as well and passed on it because of the limited buyers.. I even thought of throwing some Boss Hogg horns on the front.. lol

UNC boat. Also powdercoat the tower white, maybe do light blue accents on the tower or at least do light blue wetsounds.

Here's mine...I call it "Battleship"
Wetsounds custom colored to the dark grey on the X
Boatmate trailer will be dark grey with light grey fenders and black 18" wheels
Tint on the windshield at 20%
Also flirted with powdercoating the tower the lighter grey of the main hull, but I would need to see it in person, before I did that.

If someone can search orange KTM hubs you can see the shade...

Craig, how about this one but replace all the gray with silver flake. They don't have that option on the boat builder but I think it would look pretty sick.

Here is another. Just make the logo's red, tower black, maybe some red accents on the tower or speaker grills? Maybe make the windshield frame red? it is kind of like Kit from Knight Rider. German's love David Hasselhoff.

Can someone Photoshop the tower black, and the tower inserts I guess you would call them yellow, thinking that would look pretty sick

Say what you want, but a solid black boat with a pink metal flake X would be sick as hell. You could leave off the pink on the inside and just do a black/silver/white vinyl color scheme and a black tower and that boat would pop.

I like it. Theme it for support of breast cancer awarness or something like that. Do some sort of fundraiser as well. Randall Harris use to have a pretty sick SAN that was almost all black but the stripe was pink and the tower was pink.

Here's another...the Bumblebee
I love my solid black boat that I have now, but if it were just me...and nobody else, I would order this tomorrow! I don't think that the wife would approve thought haha. I wish I could do more details, but I don't have photoshop.
Wetsounds painted yellow to match with powdercoated black clamps.
Powdercoated gloss black tower, racks, MB logo, Tomcat logo, interior hardware and exterior hardware.
20% Tint on glass.
Boatmate trailer would be yellow with black fenders, with all of the diamond plate powdercoated gloss black, with black 18" Ballistic Jester wheels with the accent lug nuts on the wheels, painted yellow.

Ok, I'm at work so i can't post a picture of the build i made on the website so i'll have to explain it.
All white white the outline of the "X" in red.
White MB and Tomcat logos.
white powder coated tower, red speakers. white powder coated windsheild, no chrome on the boat all white with some red accents here and there. dash with red accents and all white would be sweet too.
Red x's interior white red piping everything else white.
White trailer, clear lenses, and KMC monster (or something like them) powder coated in white, with a red center cap. I think every one is going black wheels these days, but i think a change of pace and white powdercoated beefy wheels would look sweet. someone feel free to do some photoshop to portray my vision if you can, i just have no program on my computer at the hospital.

Yea its time for a change. EVERYBODY has black wheels these days, which i think looks good, but its time to do something differently, but i think an all white boat with a touch of red accents would be awesome! can't wait to see what you come up with Ian, i'm not going to be able to get a new boat this year, hopefully next year, but we'll see.

This is sort of my idea. With a few exceptions if someone would just love to photoshop somethings in it they are welcome to. Id like for it to have a white tower, red speakers, I like the idea above of the inserts in the tower being red. "Ghost" MB logos Just making them white. also the cupholder area all white with a red X, dash being all white with maybe a red center cap or something on the steering wheel, same goes for throttle. And like I said, all white trailer, clear tail lights, and powdercoated white rims, something beefy powdercoated white maybe with a red centercap. Obviously this would look good with any accent color, but i think red is classic "boat" to me.
Edit, oh and white rubrail. and white windsheild, as well as glove box. No chrome or silver on this boat, its all powdercoated white, with red accents, ok you get the picture. now only if i could afford it

Now that I'm looking at the outside of the boat, id probably do the X on the outside with out the three lines on the bottom right side of it, so its just an outline of an X. and white wetsounds (or towerspeakers doesn't matter) with a red trim around the front of it, or red front piece. I'm meticulous i know, this is why i could never really design my boat, that and i definitely couldn't afford all of the little details haha
