I have my dad thinking very seriously on a 1999 Supra Launch. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this boat and how the wake performance is. Thanks for your help.
This boat has a really good wake when weighted down. It doesn't quite have the snap off the top like an older VLX with a wedge, and it's not like hitting a curb like a SAN 210. The wake is wider than average which can be good or bad.
It's also one of the least sensitive boats to left/right weight distribution. The wakes don't wash out nearly as much as they do on most boats when the weighting is off (new X-1, SAN 210, etc.)
Best direct drive wakeboard wake period. It's a little more vert at the lip than my VLX.
I will say, though, that I've never been able to get a good surf wake out of one, and I think by now we've tried every weight amount & placement possible in that hull.

Not the "best" surf wake but it more then does the trick.
We a Supra Launch direct drive and we have never filled the hard tank and with ten people in the boat it threw a pretty good size wake. I dont know to much about the wake surfing, but for wakeboarding were impressed.
