Has anyone found a good quality protable garage that is reasonably priced and doesn't look too ghetto. I just moved to a new house and besides being full of all of my crap right now the garage is a couple feet too short.

I have a nice fenced in area along the side of the garage where I can park the boat, but I would like to get something to keep the rain off. I'm going back an fourth between a tent type portable garage and building a carpot type shelter.

Let me know if you guys have found anything good, and pictures are always good too. Thanks.

I am looking for one too! I e-mailed the guy in the "rigs and rides pics" or something like that and he hasn't answered yet. Hopefully we'll get to see where it came from soon.

If you guys are lookin at the canvas type garages, there is a website called coverit.com that has a few of them. I was looking also, but decided to build a bigger garage. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the idea. That type of garage is very close to what I'm looking for.

Hey guys...I own the teepee under rigs and rides. TallTige, i thought i replied back to ya, sorry if not. I got mine from farmtek.com, but sheltersofamerica.com sells the same thing. Cover-it does sell very similar shelters, but are more expensive and arent galv. frames. The shelters are great and come in diff sizes to fit anything. They are a pain to assemble in that they are so big, but quality is great. If anyone has any Q's, let me know. Definately a few leaps beyond the Costco route, but this will last 15-20 yrs!

wuneyewilly, That's a sweet shelter. What size is it? How much ground space does it take up? How much was it?

Wuneyewilly, nice shelter. Does your boat fit through the door opening with the tower up, or do you have to fold the tower down to get it in the door, then flip it back up once inside.

Thanks wuneyewilly!

I called coverit - they said they are powder coated instead of galvanized. Their shelters don't go to the floor very well leaving a gap for sand, etc.

I live next to something like the Sahara Desert and have a constant sand dune trying to blow into my boat (so I keep the truck outside, boat in the garage, wife gets mad). I can't tell how well this one covers the floor - Does it keep dust out well? Thanks for filling us in!

The boat fits in the shelter all assembled, tower up. It fits with the tongue straight and platform on. Works out really good. Mine is 14x14x28, so ground space is just over 14x28. They are kinda expensive, but last 15-20 yrs. Also, Cover-It is definately different. Pwdr caoted vs. galv, more $$$, and the covers fit diff. Mine has about a 12-16" flap on the sides that rolls out, which channels water away from the footing. This could work the same for your migrating dunes.
