I know I should have posted this question on planetnautiques or correct craft fan, but for some reason my computer wouldnt let me start an account.

I just want to know the diffenrences in the hull on both of these boats. I know the super sport is the 210 minus ballast and tower. Is the sport the same hull but direct drive?

Yes, I believe that to be correct. Same hull, just a direct drive.

BUT shallower draft.

Pre 1997(?) the Sport's hull was not the 210's hull.

That picture is of a ski nautique hull. Thats a totally different hull then the sport and super sport.

I think its actually 96 and up that is the same hull as the 210 correct?

It is 97 and below that the sport is the same running surface as the Super Air. In 98 they changed the hull a little with the introduction of the Air Nautique (d-drive version) and that tweaked the hull a tad. But prior to that the hulls on the sport, super sport, and now Super Air were the same. Just top decks differed as the super sports had deeper interiors.

yep that's it.

1993-1997 Sport and 1995-1997 Super Sport are the same running surface as the SAN.

yup the close bow boats have a shallower draft and are not as long. Though the older 85-89 closed bow boats throw a killer wake. These are called the 2001 series. These boats throw sick wakes.

KJ the 2001 series is actually from 82-89 and have a very similar hull to the sport and super sport boats.

yeah my 2001 throws a sick wake. Real similar to a 210. really defined lip. the first boat i learned to ride behind was a sport nautique(DD). Dont remember what the wake was like except it was huge to learn behind.
