Hey guys,

Just ordered an 07 247lsv and was curious on how to weight it. It has 4 tanks and a power wedge.
Any input would be helpful!!

Thanks
Chris

i 99.99999% i saw a pic with 1000# over stock and power wedge was huge, solid, and clean at 85'@24.5

not sure about the distribution, but i think that number would be a good starting point.

I rode behind a 247 a couple of months ago. We had full stock, wedge down, and about 8 or 9 people in the boat. We were riding at 75ft at about 22mph (i think). The wake was scary big and like mad child said, solid. It wasn't as clean as my 23lsv, but it was the maiden voyage of a friend's boat and he hadn't had a chance to dial anything in.

I really hope it was the maiden voyage POST break-in...

Festivus, i did order the 8.1, figured it would be worth the money.

Also, i just demoed both a 23lsv and a 247lsv last week. both had 4 tanks, manual wedge, and 5 guys in the boat. IMO the 247 had a bigger, cleaner, and more solid wake then the 23. however, I was still disappointed with the size. When i get it I will definitely have to put weight in it. How should i distribute it and how much?

It was post break in. 06 model bought new. the original owner started going through a divorce and had to sell the boat. My friend bought it with 35 hours or something.
