Mine were fine for as long as I was using them in "fresh" water (The Delaware River). But then I used them in
salt water, and from riding they went right into a board bag and into a hot van. By the next day they reeked
like cat spray. I washed them in the tub several times using dish soap and baking soda. They don't stink like they
once did, but I've never been able to totally get rid of that cat spray stank. Good luck.

My Ronix Scouts smell like a wet dog. I ride in fresh water and let it air dry at home.

for salt/brackish: you can try submerging them in clean water a few times to cut down on the dying organisms trapped in your boots. Sounds like they don't drain out that well if fresh water does it too....

I ride at the Delta and I've had the Ones for 2 years as well. Mine have never smelled. I just air them out and I've never had a problem. Try Tough Actin Tinactin :-) j/k My buddy has the Ronix Cell bindings and his dont' smell either.

My sons Reliks got that rank smell after being put in the board bag still damp in a hot car for a few hours. Tough to get out. The best we found was putting them in the sun for a day (maybe two) after scrubbing them with water & baking soda. Open them up as much as possible so the UV rays can do there work.

Mine have that same horrible smell.

I store my board in my home-office; when my wife walks in she freaks out. I just tell her "baby, that's the smell of fun"!

My ones smell too now. They just started smelling like stinky feet after about five sessions.

proper research was not done when using intuition and knockoff moldable liners. companies were trying to ride the coattails of the snowboard industry.

aside from open and closed toe models never drying they also breakdown incredibly fast from the heat off the water.

not for me.

Yeah i have this same issue with my Cells. It seems to happen when they don't get enough ventilation and/or heat. Early season riding up here in washington is cold and I think that is why they smell so bad, because they dont get the heat to air out. It's starting to heat up more now, so after i take a set I leave the board in the sun for a while. That seems to take care of the smell. Anyone else find this too?

I was going to suggest leaving them upside down, like in a board rack or something so they dry out. Sucks these high end binders smell like the funk.

Ronix Bindings - cuz you're feet already smell like ass!!

Anything left with moisture in it tends to smell funny (boardshorts/vests)...I usually stuff t-shirts in my CTs after riding and then give them a shot of sunlight. Ladyfriend suggested newspaper and says thats what backpackers do so that stuff doesn't start smelling like:

On an unrelated note, would PETA be upset if we sessioned a dead turtle?
