You're pretty much SOL..My boat looks like hell after using it. I've got vinyl covered trim pieces on the gunnels of my boat, they were starting to come loose. Instead of putting a few screws through them, I used gorilla glue. Big mistake! I knew it expanded, but it made a huge mess. It got all over the vinyl (needs to be replaced now) and it stained the gel coat. I've sanded most of it off the gel coat so you really can't tell. I don't reccomend it all for boat use. You may be able to pick it off w/you fingernails.

If you decide to use it, wear gloves. It will stain your hands, and doesn't come off unless you scrape off a layer of skin. I used it on the carpet where it attaches to the inside of the engine box, wouldn't use it again.
