So I have a pair of 03 byerly's with the BOA, I know they are a little outta date but cant decide what I want next. My problem with them is, right at the very bottom of my shin, right where the above the top of my foot my bindings seem to put so much pressure right there that bruise my feet. It gets too the point that it hurts to bad to land big jumps, but there seems like there should be something I can do. Ive gotton to where I dont even hardly tighten them down too much. Any advice other than get some new bindings?? and if the latter is your advice, what are some good bindings with no pressure points>??? thanks

The think the pressure points exist in all bindings depending on the riders foot shape.

I ride the CWB Fuses (at the moment). Absolutely no pressure points but I modified them to be that way. The Zeus' are nice because you can flip open the hinge while you're in the water to let your feet rest in between falls
.

J-Rod, what did you do to your Fuses? Mine need to be broken in a bit more, but the left one is killing me right now.

demo some new bindings so you know what you're getting. try on one of hyperlite's bindings this year, they fit better than some of my shoes.

I ride the LF Minx bindings and love them. They make the Sphynx bindings for the guys that are similar and I've heard good reviews on them too. They are not the most rigid of bindings but I prefer a more flexible feel. The two sets of laces help with the fit. I ride with the top set tight and the bottom a bit looser to allow more room for my toes I've broken in the past. This provides more comfort for the piggies, as well as that area where your ankle transitions into your foot.

I tried on lots of binding multiple times before I bought 06' Zeus'. Best fitting binding and most configurable binding I tried on. They have an upper and lower cinch adjustment. So far they are great.
