I am looking to buy a boat next year primarily for wakeboarding and wakeskating and I am wondering: with a low budget ($6,000-$8,000) what type I should get? The most people I would have in the boat would be 4-5 people and 1 being towed.

I am looking for a boat with the largest wake I can get either by the boat itself, or adding weight to it, and stay within my budget.

What type of hull design to look for for the best wake?

I/O or Inboard?

What length?

How much Horsepower?

Buying used is what I intend to do so that won't be an issue.

Any help would be great. Thanks.
