What's the weather going to be like in late february early march? my crew is going to take a pre-season trip and we're trying to figure out what the weather's going to be like. anyone?

cold..proabbly one of the coldest parts of the year... jan-mid feb.

Yep, cold and probably a little windy. I would guess temps from 40-60 degrees. But march is the turn around time when it starts getting warmer - so the later the better.

You guys just coming down to do some riding? I would be more than happy to do some shredding with you guys if you will be in the San Antonio area or up in Austin. I have a great crew to ride with and a couple of Nautiques to ride behind. Might even be able to take out one of the new 230 super airs from the dealership to tear it up behind. Anyway if you are looking to ride some boat and check out some of the local spots then let me know. I think that March will be a good time of year to visit cause the wallys don't start comming out till like June and the water and air temps won't be bad at all.

yea robert we're just comin dow for some pre-season riding, maybe some drinking as well...4 of us for sure are comin and a 5th is a possibility. my cousin lives in Austin so we're gonna stay there and i have a couple of friends who live in austin as well. we're thinkin we're gonna try and fly in thursday nite and ride fri sat and maybe sunday depending on our return flight home.

i'm sure no one would be opposed to takin a set behind that new 230, i'm def not. and we're all about checkin out the local scene. i'll let you know whats up the closer it gets. but for sure we'll have to meet up.

Sounds good man. I can think of a few good watering holes around here that are fun, and plenty in Austin on the infamous 6th street. I will see what I can do about takin out the 230, I did it a few times last year and fell in love with that beast of a wake. I also snuck a few fat sacs in there just to see what would happen.. It was good. Anyway just let me know and I'm sure we could work something out.

i love the new 220 wake...even with just a few extra lbs of lead it was mackin...i'd be up for a sacked out 230 and i know the rest of the boys would be too...sounds like a good time for sure

Robert, Kong's in!!!! haha Im always down to meet and ride with new people! We are going to have a solid crew goin. Im looking forward to the trip! I want to ride as much as we can in 2 or 3 days. We will bring gas money and beer. You bring the boat and the girls. HAHAHAHA

Na I work at the Sail and Ski in San Antonio, I think that Clarissa still works up in Austin. At least she did when I went to pick up all of my snowboarding equipment. She helped my girl spend way to much money, haha. I hope that everything works out and I can take you guys out for a solid day of rippin. We always are down to ride with new people and see new styles.

I went out last year in February (maybe march). We wore drysuits and had the whole place to ourselves. It was awesome, but a little chilly.

Our crew is getting a trip planned out to either OWC or TSR in Jan or Feb some time...you guys have dates pick picked out yet?

Whats up Al!!!! Not yet. But it will be early in the year. We want to do it before Spring Ride, but not when its to cold. The Deroche brother are not big fans of the cold. I think Miroki (James Evans) will be with us too. How ya been man?

I was at TSR on Dec31 last year and a heater shirt was good... but Feb is when it gets about as cold as it can down here. I have been out on Lake Austin in mid March and done it in a heater shirt, but it was pretty dam cold
