if you want to download music illegally and you have good virus protection (or a mac) use limewire...

if you want music legally download off amazon or itunes... the reason i say amazon first is because the music doesn't have DRM (itunes music has DRM which makes it to where you have to use an ipod if you want to play it somewhere other than your computer)

I hope you guys are running peerguardian or protowall or similar if you are using limewire or torrents. You will poop yourself when you see the amount of monitoring done on those.

mIRC is a much better method and monitoring is harder to do because of design.

yeah i had limewire pro via limewire on my other computer, but now i got a mac and havent tried to get pro through limewire yet.

imesh -- its like 6 bucks a month, has everything... but its protected, so I run the music through "tunebite" and it just rerecords the music to my computer, but the second copy has no copyright issues....

the bands get paid, I get my music to burn/mp3 for 6 a month... its worth it to me

also my school pays for me to use Ruckus, but they have less music so i rarely use it.

I get most of mine from russian sites for about $.03-$.04 a song they get popped here and there then move on. Otherwise I use a torrent and rarely Limewire. If I find it on itunes I'll usually buy it there.
