NO WAY is there seriously a DJ Set-up in the back, Two tech and a Vestax FURREAL! SO COOL! Although being a turntablist myself I can tell you that records, needles, bumps, and shaking dont mix well.

Riley - What did you do to get the coffin to sit on the ski pole. Sick idea. I have only seen the yellow calabria with it done and always wondered exactly what they did.

No way on the Rane! I like Rane, but the Pioneer DJM 1000 is where it's at, but I play that chunky funky electro house and love getting down on that Pioneer! Rodman's Rehab in Fort Lauderdale

(hijack continued) DEECEEE ANd Crew, I love the fact there are other mixmasters on hear, I had no idea as well!!! I have been mixing for 12 years, its the best Freaking hobby ever. I actually owned a Record Shop in Duluth Minnesota during college Called RoundAbout Records. We sold Rane Mixers at out shop along with everyones favorite GEMINI HAHAHAHAHA. I have a Rane TTM 56S, a Vestax PCM 05, and a Pioneer 1000 along with 4 Techs. I have to say that I like the Vestax Fader the best for scatching and Crapping the fader for sure and its so easy to replace, so is the Rane for that matter but the faders are bit slower. The Pioneer is Cool but its something I bought back when I was all about 2-step and D n B, I havent even plugged it in for like 2 years, not to mention the cross faders are horrible and noisey. HAHAHAHAH You Guys know why chicks Dig DJ's Right? Fast Fingers!

Let me just defend the Pioneer, I can scratch but usually don't. I rock the hell out of the effects get huge buildups and drop the bass on people so hard it hurts. Nothing i like more than seeing 10 little asian kids on E sitting right next to the speakers, I make it my mission to hurt them. Love watching them twitch on the floor as I echo the S out of the highs and then drop a bomb on them when the bass line comes back.

HAHAHAHAHHA DUDE I can totally picture that!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHA. I am just becoming a minimalist. When I was using the Pioneer 24/7 I would be a little biatch and not want to jump on any decks at parties or whatever if they didn't have a Pioneer or I didnt have mine. I sort became dependent on the effects and shiat. I just got my hands on Final Scratch Pro Pretty Fun Tool.

Duuuuuude. You know bout DNB as well. Something else I thought I was alone on hahahah. Riley - as far as the Pioneer, you should try out the allen and heath xone 92. It has the same effects as the Pioneer PLUS FILTERS. As far as mixing there are no better tools to have then filters. Trust me. I had a Xone 62 (had the filters but no effects) but traded it for the Rane (which ironically has effects but no separate filter controls).

Riley - You coming down for conference this year? If so I will tow my boat down and we can link up. Andy, you should try to make it down for conference as well. Get out of the cold, although I am not sure what the temps in Minn. are in March but I am sure thay are not as warm as MIAMI.

I am coming for Conference I am playing at Ultra, Nocturnal and a couple pool parties as of now, I am sure that list will get bigger! I can play on anything and have used the Xone 62 as well, these days I am just super comfy on a pair of CDJ 1000's and Virtual DJ with a DJM 1000 it's just what I like and with those tools I can take people on a 4 hour journey through sound. When I am in Florida I usually share the booth with my good buddy Capital T he does the programing and I do the tricks, together we make a great team!

DeeCee, I got a Chance to hang out with DJ Dara and AK1200 about 6 years ago that was a lesson in D n B that was amazing. Watching them tag team decks was prolly the coolest thing I have ever seen.

That's bad ass Andy! I like AK1200's drowning mix, but I think MC Navigator ruined that CD. I saw AK1200, diesel boy, and Aphrodite at planet of the drums back in 2000 in Hawaii.

Yeah Dave ak1200 is a good dude. Only met dara a handful of times. They are getting ready for there 2009 Planet of the drums tour if I am not mistaken. Nacho - I went to the pawnshop and there was now a sticker for $199. When I asked why, the guy looked it up and said it had been bought earlier in the week for $50 but had been returned which meant it probably did not work and they had put the old sticker back on by mistake. if you still want it lemme know and i will grab it tomorrow but the guy said he would not take a return on it so you would be stuck with it.

Andy I picked up some vinyl from you back in the day when I'd visit Duluth. I used to rock some frat parties at UND when I was in college. Had some friends at UMD that I would visit and I came through your spot a few times.. Small world.

Jeff, Thanks man you help keep us afloat. That was hands down the funnest thing that I have been involved in. Honestly we bought that shop for $1.00, it was a failing S-Type Corp and my buddy and I spilt it for $0.50 each getting 50 Shares. It was 15K in the whole, but we pulled it out of he red in a year, then eventually got other interests and move away from Dull-youth and shut it down. You ever come to any of are after Barties? Man when had a Keggerator in the back and would rock out after the bar closed till dawn!! Man I LOVE COLLEGE! Riley I feel you on the DNB being a bit fast, once I started laying off the party drugs and focusing on life I realized that I was way more into just the simplicity of Hip Hop. Lately tho I have been all about BOOTY HOUSE! I love watching what it does to all the ladis at the parties!

Damn lots of people Dj on here. I am currently using an Audio Innovate 100i with an innofader in it. If you want to look at battle mixers I would say check it for sure. I guess lots of boarders Dj though. I have talked t Parks about DJ and I am sure that BT does as well.
