Any MB owners have any good or bad info about these boats. I've found one with low hours and the ZR6 engine. Seems like a pretty bad a** boat to me....

We got ours in November and have around 105 hours on it now. We have the ZR6 and two speed.

We're very happy with it. Having said that, I think the tower sways more than many other designs.

If you have any specific questions I can give you my opinions.

Hey Dale I have the B52 V3. I don't have the ZR6 motor but I did upgrade to the two speed tranny. I love the boat. Throws a killer wake with the triple up, tons of storage, good finish work. I have had nothing but compliments from other boat owners once they have ridden in it or have been pulled behind it. If it has new tower design is a little tricky for board racks BUT I got one fron Get High Sports that swivels and it works killer.
I am in Brentwood also. Drop me an e-mail if you want any more info or want to compare the two for quality.

If rarely ever plan on slaloming than get the boat because its got like a 2 foot high spray. The wakeboard wake is sweet and interior is second to none

Dale, I recently rode behind Cobe's 06 23 and it was SICK ! I like the 21 ft B-52 but the 23 is better IMHO.

The 23 didn't have the bow rise that the 21 has.

My bad, I misread the subject line.

I have the V23 not the V3.

Carry on...

Here is how an MB's hull might be made.....

There is no foam in an MB. I call that photo.

Hey John,
If you want you can come over and take a look at the boat yourself!

What's the story behind those pics? Bad accident, or deliberate cross-section investigation?

Pardon my ignorance, but what's wrong with foam in the hull? (I honestly don't know).

Ouch...that's some serious stuff. I see why you wouldn't want the hull to be as thin as that, but not coring at all would equal about a foot-thick hull, wouldn't it? Obviously impractical there...what are the other options? Just a super-thick hull and nothing to fill the holes?

Well we bought a 2006 B52 V23 in June and we are picking it up today! So we will post a pic sometime in the next week... I think it is one of the first 2006's to be on the water. We traded in our old MB and got this one because we really liked the quality compared to others with what you pay for! I will hope we don't have any hull issues like the explained above....

Bill could you give us a side profile of the boat. That trailer looks like a boatmate trailer. Also the foam is to far in the rear, that is where the ballast tanks would be. Also that blue looks too light to be a MB color. The hull has a big step in the rear, and only the 190 plus is close to that. Bill where are you from?

Amber- Congrats! You are going to love it. Hurry up with those pictures. I really want to see it. I'm thinking of getting an 06 myself. Any pricing info you could post would be helpful so I can make sure that I get a good deal. No changes for 06 other than cosmetic right?

Gerry the boat is a 190 plus. The hull is was red, grey and black. The boat is now on it's way to MB to be examined. No ballast was ever used in the boat. Tempe, AZ. and Branson, MO. I may have a few old pictures of the boat before it came apart that I will try to post.
