There are two vents down by the driver's feet and one vent in the walk-through. The walk-through vent pulls out with a flexible tube so you can put it in your lap under a towel or something like that.

its very nice... i like it very much....... if your optioning a boat out right now, doe yourself a favor and get the heated drivers seat to go along with it.

yeah, and the walk through vent barely reaches to the spotter's seat! Totally overlooked by the warm weather builders in CA in my opinion! I'm hoping to either split that vent to one that comes out under the spotters seat or add a 2nd heater this spring. It's really put in a dumb place!

Yeah, they do come up a little short on that hose. Why not make it long enough to reach the rear seats?

How is that heated seat in the Malibu's? A friend of mine opted for the heated seat in his 07 X-2 and although it is noticeable, I wouldn't say it is worth the cost of the option. But it is pretty sweet to be driving and rub it in to everyone else that you have a heated seat while they freeze after those chilly runs!

The one in our '06 isn't used much. I used it a few times the first couple of seasons but found that when I'd want the seat on I tend to be in pants and a full drysuit and don't feel it. It is great for bragging rights but otherwise I don't use it much. Oh, and this fall when I did try to use it, it didn't work so now I have to investigate that one .

I installed a 5 vent heater in my 205 a few years ago. One of the snorkels was 6' long & easily reached the back seat.
If your interested in doing something like that, give the guys at Heatercraft a call. They are very easy to work with & have tons of parts available. http://www.heatercraft.com

I also have the 5 vent heater in my Bu. Two are at the back seats. I use them every spring and fall well worth the money to me.

Did you install that yourself or request it special?

Is that 2 heater units or 1 with 5 vents?

I love the heated seat both for bragging rights and because I use it a lot. Even on a warm summer day, it comes in handy in the morning or evenings when it starts cooling off. Of course, I have no idea how much extra it costs! :-)

I love the heated seat. You are right about the hose being a little short. I am looking at doing the 5 vents as well so I can get 2 in the back because we ride all year around and the heaters are needed after getting out of the water.

Brooke- It's two different heaters. The three are the standard from the factory. My dealership put the other 2 in. They two both pull out six ft.

Donny,
I think that's my best plan for spring. I was thinking a 2nd 3 outlet, one under the spotter's seat and then 2 more more toward the rear with the snorkels. Hopefully one close enough for the driver to borrow too. Those two by my feet with the heated seat just don't do it :-)

Do any of you guys have a subwoofer and a heater up under the drivers side dash?

I'm ordering and need to finalize soon, my dealer actually mentioned the short hose and he installs his heater under the spotters seat (factory won't put it there).

Sp0tts, our '06 VLX came with the sub and 2 heater vents under the dash from the factory.

Here is a 12" sub and a three outlet heater. The hoses haven't been hookup yet, and the heater did need to move a bit.Upload
