I'm having trouble starting my '94 ski nautique. I have to wiggle the throttle a bunch before it thinks it is in neutral. It seems to be getting worse. Any advice on how to tune it up? Thanks, B
The actual switch itself is on the gearbox not in the throttle housing. You might want to look at adjusting the play in the linkage on the gearbox or in the throttle housing or maybe the switch itself is breaking down.
David is probably right, but another thing to check is the actual throttle lever. There is a hex nut that holds it on. Mine comes loose from time to time and causes the lever to not properly align. Perhaps this could be the cause?
