The surface is made up of sheets of PVC. The ones we used are probably a little thin because the sun had its way with them and I had to pull some screws and re-drill them just to get the warping out.

so bummed I missed out on this. I was looking forward to it for a while. some great pictures guys. looks like a great time was had by all. even Thane with the unfortunate rope burn. glad to see Geri hit up the slider as well. did you guys have any plans for these sliders at all? I would be interested in doing the basic one, and have heard that the lake I ride at, the rangers would not tear it down.

jrod, see the rope on the right of the rail? he ran into that coming off the rail. you should've seen ed go over that rope. he went around the backside of the rail and we thought he didn't see it. we thought he was going to have his ankles cut off!

he actually took his foot off the board at the top of the rail, planted it on the rail, then put it back on the board on the downrail.

J-rod - the vid that Josh posted up you can see what happened. I fell off that side of the rail, and kind of forgot that rope was there. I tried to get over it, but I didn't quite make it.
