Now there's something I've never seen before. I'd love to take that thing for a spin.

No weight, slight deadrise. It might do it. Of course you are not going to want to argue with a 2000 lb guy that can barefoot.

that is not even the same boat on centurianboats, its got a way bigger platform and open bow and the motor appears to be more to the back... did they make it differently in other yrs? its sure not a barefoot boat and i'm a big doubter of the 65mph claim...with a direct drive 225 hp? come on?

The one on ebay is a early closed bow version before they built the Open bow with the ballast etc No Idea how fast it goes When fineline was building Gekko boats they sold the wave at least until 2004 under the name the Gekko BAZOOKA http://www.waterskimag.com/product.jsp?ID=6152

Dude! If I had a spare 10k, I would by it just for tearing around in. It's like a V8 jetski. Hell, you could tow it behind your real boat. I can't believe I've never seen one before. I've seen several of the other model Wave. Someone even broke one out at the boat show last year. Well ahead of it's time. I've never seen the closed bow one though. F'n rad.

Guys, have you never been to Marine World in the mid '90's'? They used these pull toyz to pull riders during the water show! My buddy bare-footed behind one.

haha..lol, I remember Marineworld. Wow , that was a long time ago.. That means I am getting old. It looks like they used the hull and seats and made their own modifications to that boat. I have never seen an engine put in the front of a boat. Very different. I think I will keep the boat I have.

that is in the wakeboard magazine that marked the 10 year anniversary of wakeboarding. a built in ballast system in 93!! so ahead of its time, also there were two models, one that had a much larger platform on the back and an open bow. (Message edited by jaytique on May 03, 2007)

Molly, you think you're getting old? I worked at Marine World in '85, the last year it was in Redwood Shores. I am old!!! I was only 15, but still!
