HI,
whats the difference in rope lenght,
what does a longer rope help you do and what does a shorter rope let you do

Kinda depends on the type of boat, how it's weighted, and where the sweet spot is in the wake. Basically, a longer rope will give you more air time, while the shorter rope will help you clear the wake on boats with wider wakes, or help less experienced riders go wake to wake. You also have more time to set your edge with a longer line, less time with the shorter line.
