I have my TS 360s consistent and have started trying 540s. What is the trick to getting that last 180? It seems like it takes a long time to get from 360 to 540. I can feel myself stalling out. I still get most to all of the rotation, but it is right as I hit the water so it is impossible to hold on. Do I need to pull it around harder, spin sooner, etc.? I am trying to get my front hand back on the handle, but just can't quite get it there.

Just pass it to the other hand (Rt. for regular) and look for the boat. It doesn't take long at all to get the last 180 because you are already spinning, and landing in a hs stance is much easier than a ts anyway. Once I learned these they were easier than 3s.
