Wakeboarding in SoCal (around or near Dana Point)

Hi everybody,
I recently moved to Dana Point, now searching for wakeboarding contacts. Any helpful comment or hint is welcome.

Not many people wakeboard in the ocean, so the closest lakes are Elsinore and Perris, or you can head south down to Carlsbad Lagoon, Mission Bay, and San Vicente (east of San Diego 30 miles).

There are plenty of people still riding so it shouldn't be hard to find a pull.

I'm in the same boat Tom. There are a few local people that I ride with occasionally that put their boats in the sale which is nice for me b/c I live right next to the Lagoon. Elsinore, San V, and Canyon Lake (if a resident invites you) are pretty much your options.
