So I've been looking at getting a truck and was wondering what WW's opinion on this was. Thanks in advance http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31831&viewitem=&it em=120191351972&_trksid=p3907.m29

I used to have a similar truck. Your looking at 7 city 9 hwy MPG. Plus I wonder what his reserve is? And in Colorado it would be pretty hard to have "never been off road". Nice truck but just my opinion... go diesel

You should be able to find one of those at that price at a dealership right now, or at least make a deal on one. I had an 04 hemi best I could do towing was about 8.5 on freeway. Problem was the tranny wouldn't hold speed in any gear but 2nd. I had to get rid of it and get a diesel.

My buddy just bought an 03 his mileage with the hemi is 10mpg at best. he pulls a utility trailer that is not too heavy and it must be pulled with overdrive off. Also it seems you should expect to get about 60000 or so miles before the tranny goes. I have two other friends with new durangos and 1500 pickups and all have had tranny trouble. My dads 98 durango went 100k before his tranny went. If you go this route buy an extended warranty

The Dodges are powerful trucks, but in my opinion if you go dodge you want a diesel. The hemi is a good engine if you have to have a dodge. But the resale with a dodge w/ gas engine sucks and as Dave pointed out the transmission goes out quick.(especially with the lift and oversize tires) But hey best of luck to you
