where to buy a salvaged boat?

Does anyone know where or how I might be able to buy a boat that has been reciently sunk? When the insurance companies pay off the existing balance on the loan, they offer to the owner to buy the boat back. Is anyone going through this right now? If so I am extremely interested in buying the boat.

Im sure you can find lots of different boats throughout Louisana and Mississippi right now.

there was a story in Forbes last year about the salvage boat market in Florida after some of the big storms last season. The insurance companies will sell boats to wholesalers for pennies on the dollar, then there are auctions. There were one or two national brokerage firms that handle most of this business. Do a little library research and I'm sure you can find it.
