2008 Ronix One Bindings

I had the 07 ones and the liner came out on a few hard landings, so Ronix just sent me a brand new pair of the 08, same size. They feel really tight around my toes. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed if the sizing was any different. I was pretty impressed with Ronix customer service though.

Sizing may feel a little different at first, but they will fit to perfection once they are ridden a few times.

I was just wondering because my 07 didn't feel this way even before I started riding with them.

Did you have them molded to your feet?

I am in the same boat, and my '08s feel pretty good, but not the same as the '07s. I think the '07s fit better and are more comfortable. I also noticed the '08s are more stiff too.

I have not had them molded to my feet. I didn't have the 07's molded to my feet either because my dad rode the same bindings. I guess they will have to be broken in on our annual first trip of the year to Lake Powell in March. Then we will see how they feel. I must admit, they look better on my 05 absolute platinum than they do on my one board.

I actually like the 08 fit better, it gives those of us with skinnier feet a better fit. its the first pair ive had true heel hold in.

Jon i had mine molded just in case you were wondering... but some guy that was a total loser and just wanted to get me out of the shop quickly so he could go ride with the AM did it...

They changed the construction of the boot slightly (for the better), so the difference in fit isn't just in your head. Trying them on in the shop, I thought the One and Cell boots fit really well right out of the box.

Same thing happened to me with my 07 One bindings. The inner liners popped out on both bindings by the end of the summer. I got the 08 boots and I had the chance to ride them once. I didnt notice any difference in the toes though. The laces on the 08 boots don't tighten as well as my 07s did though for some reason.
