I made a mistake awhile back and didnt get to clean the boat coming out of the lake.

I have water spots on the metal bumper gaurd around the back of the boat...everywhere else it is fine. What can I use to get the spots off? Maquires Quick Clean Marine isnt working and I bought some boat cleaner from West Marine..some orange stuff and that didnt work either.

Also how do I strip the wax off the boat to rewax?

Try 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar mixture - works great for me.

i've used a vinegar/water/mild dish soap mixture on our black boat and I don't even really need to scrub to get the water spots off.

Try Babe's Boat products 'Spot Solver' (www.babesboats.com). Works better than anything i have used before.
