The boat struck a "submerged object"? Uh...isn't submerged below water level...how did the bow of the boat hit an object below the water? Did you see that steering wheel, and the missing guages, dude, somebody got WORKED! You can probaby get dental imprints off of the dashboard.

We know what happened to the gauges.... it's called face-plant. Good lord.

That boat hit nothing submerged. Looks like it went bow first into a rock island.

Yeah, I doubt the object was completely submerged! The bottom of the boat isn't in bad shape, except the strut and rudder being broken off.

Looks to me like he hit a levee or some vertical object to cause that much damge that high.

I saw it on the Insurance wholesale program website for 10K. Funny, someone bought it and is trying to make a dime without fixing it.The american way!

From the other thread "Man, I still think I remember that thing going up for auction and getting $6,300." - Red Sovine

Yes, I was correct. It sold for $6,300 from Insurance Asset Management (part of Allstate I think). It is was listed as a non-fatality total loss.

it hit land out at Lake Mead late at night, outside the Narrows! sheesh, or was it a partially submerged spaceshuttle, i cant remember.
