99 Supra carb question

I have a 99 supra launch with the indmar 350 in it. I need to replace the carb but I am having trouble finding out what model Holley it is. It says Holley and P80 on the side. All my web searches for Holley P80 dont find anything. I did find that it should have the Holley 4150 on it. Is the P80 a 4150 or something else. Any help would be great guys cuz this is keeping me from the water. Thanx.

You sure you need to replace the carb? Have you ruled out the fuel filter, fuel pump, and oil pressure sensor, etc.? all of which can look like a busted carb. I know this b/c i have rebuilt mine before i found out it was my oil pressure sensor the whole time.

In any case if you know you need one, i'm taking mine out tonight, i can give you the exact model tomorrow.

Holley carbs are super easy to rebuild, super easy to set initial tuning on (usually don't require much adjustment), and unless it got damaged lasts forever. Order a rebuild kit, take it off, and rebuild it.

The Holley PN for it should be 75021, 75021-1 or 80408.
Also the carb is 600CFM with a 2.5 power valve

For holleys, There are numbers stamped on the air horn. Thats the tall piece sticking up that the butterflies are inside of. The number is called the List Number. Pull that number and you can go to Holleys website and find out exactly what carb it is.

But if I had to guess its a 4160 Marine.

Unless yours got burned and deformed from a fire, it doesn't need to be replaced. They will last 10-20-30 years no prob. just have some local guy rebuild it $50-$100. Done. Jet

Man, read this thread a little too late. I had the same carb on my 2000 Moomba Kamberra. it was running rough and wouldn't idle correctly. We took it off to find the rebuild kit for it. We were having a lot of problems locating the right kit. We were looking at the same number Aaron mentioned above (75021-1). We eventually bought 2 different carb kits that we were able to use.

It's rebuilt back on now and running great.

I'm definetly going to keep that link above though for future reference.

If you guys ever need help looking up a number for a carb, carb kit or different replacement parts let me know. We have a couple countermen that will find the right number in a heartbeat.

That is weird that skidim has the same renew kit for the 80408 and the 75021. The 80408 is a 715cfm carb and the 75021 is a 600 cfm. My guess is you have the 600cfm carb. Holley does not list a renew kit for the the 600 cfm 75021 but does for the 715 cfm 80408. The renew kit for the 80408 is a a 703-45. My guess is skidim is selling that kit for both carbs but Holley's literature doesn't really support this. I don't know enough about carbs but maybe since both carbs are 4150's the renew kit will work but it will bump the 75021 carb from 600 cfm to 715 cfm?

My dad is pretty knowledgeable on carbs. When he gets back from lunch I will ask him what he thinks.

By the way the price on that kit at skidim(assuming it is a Holley 703-45) is an ok price. I bet it could be had somewhere cheaper though.

Now if your carb is a model 4160 you can forget all those other numbers.

pull the flame arrester off and find the list number that is stamped into the horn like someone already suggested.

What symptoms make you feel the need to replace the carb? I bet if you posted em up you could get a few possible solutions that would be easier, quicker, less expensive to fix. The very last resort would to be to mess with the carb... Have you tried spraying some carb cleaner in it or an air hose (be careful of the air hose because it can ruin the diaphragm). I'd like to hear what the symptoms are before advising anyone to take the carb off let alone rebuild it.
