Jakober nice dash shot, what lens were you using?

Rolled up to Kopert lake last weekend for the AWS Spring Classic, yes it was cold and rained, it's Washington in April, still had a good time. Here are a few shots.

A good friend of mine who moved away came back to visit this weekend. He helped me shoot some product shots that I had to do today and then I took is portrait. He and I used to always "play" with the stuff in the studio after shoots. Today felt like good ol' times.

J Jakober,

Looking at your set up I'd have to say you earned all those great drop shots. That looks like a lot of work to get it all dialed in.

Your latest shot is outstanding.

Thanks Walt. There is some techy/scientific part to it, but the majority is just trial and error!

I drove out to the bridge about 4 am this morning to shoot a specific shot of the bridge with the Transamerica building in the center of it. I guess they turn the lights out early these days. fail.

Flowers aren't normally my thing but I got bored today and wanted to shoot some photos. With no one around I decided to shoot the tulips my roommate planted in our front yard.

Nope! Just some 2.8 goodness... shot the blurries in the foreground are other tulips. The main one is lit by an SB900 with a softbox to bring it out of the background.

Nick, I like the water drops on your flowers. I should have sprayed mine down to give it that look. haha!

Brad, your boot shot is sweet too!

Yeah, the giraffe really brings out that gangsta in him hahahaha. He loves being in front of the camera!!

Thanks for the comment Ryan, the flower shot is sick man!!

Here is an OLD favorite from 2005. I completely forgot about this photo. I am pretty sure it wasn't even my camera and probably one of the first times I shot digital. It is pretty crazy how the world has changed in only a few years.
