Welcome to the family!
I can't wait to see the wake
How much ballast did you get?

I also need to know how fast it goes I know its a wakeboard boat but I barefoot
Old    falcon_v            03-04-2008, 7:52 PM Reply
It only comes with a 2 tank option 460lbs. The wake is rampy and firm. The boat top speed was 50mhp shocked me and the dealer I demoed with(gps) with speed domintor nob turned to the lowest setting. construction on this boat is awsome, fit and finish awsome. The wake disappers at 30-32 mph It would be good for sking or barefooting just recerational sorry cant spell worth a crap. The surf wake looked awsome for just stock ballast and 2 people in the boat.

Last year I bought a 2007 chevy classic to match my old boat and thought the new boat I would order to match until I saw this one. I said I would never own black now look. my truck is blue I guess it will be time for a new truck.

Light blue is interesting. I think it would really pop with a Navy blue and light blue. Cool boat. The beam is huge. Anyone want to post pics of the interior and beam?

I like the tower, look super solid.

What engine? So you saw 50 on the GPS?
What about porpusing?

Love the boat but don't like the tower at all. I prefer a stainless or aluminum tower. Is this the only tower option offered with the Falcon V?
Chris, what was the out the door price on your purchase and is it loaded?

Someone PLEAASE post pics. I'm partial to Malibu's VTX ( I own a Malibu now) but a new centurion dealership went up 3 blocks from my house and I'm thinkin of the FalconV...

I'll be buying later this year, so I'll have time to demo both, but I'd love to see personal non bias reviews.

...I was quite impressed at the boat show with this boat....especially for that kinda of money...the tower looks better in person...it looked really sturdy too.

Hey greers ferry what are your prices for the falcon with same options above. That black and green is awsome
Old     (greers_ferry_boats)      Join Date: Dec 2007       03-05-2008, 9:46 AM Reply
With the same options above it is 39900. But we order ours with bimini and perfect pass and sell them for $44,995.
Old     (bigshow)      Join Date: Feb 2005       03-05-2008, 9:47 AM Reply
That's an expensive bimini
Old     (sks625)      Join Date: Sep 2007       03-05-2008, 9:48 AM Reply
I second Chris Greers Ferry. I demoed a boat from you guys last summer. A blue and black Elite V. I was looking seriously at the Elite V and was dealing with Kevin Thomas on that red/blk/and silver one in the show room. Think you guys sold that one, but i decided to wait to see this Falcon V. I'll be demoing it soon I assure you.

Thanks Chris for your full option list. I was wandering what they came with for 40k. The tower may grow on me or look better in person and no offense to you but I still don't like. I think it would look better with a polished look. Mabey that is how they cut some costs though to get these out the door at that price.

Nate - I'd love to see wake pics w/stock ballast, both surf and wakeboard and any pics of a wake from a sacked out Falcon. Maybe +900 lbs xtra.

Right now its between this boat and the VTX, and I'm still leaning towards the VTX because of MLS, power wedge and overall look.

I've spoken with a salesmen (didn't know anything about boats, he's fresh from the car sales scene) so he didn't know ballast numbers or any specific detail. Got all the info from a brouchere. Thats why I'd like to know from personal expereince the info, AND PLEASE NO BASHING OR BIAS ANSWERS!

I want to know whats BAD about both boats.
Old     (greers_ferry_boats)      Join Date: Dec 2007       03-05-2008, 10:05 AM Reply
It also has perfect pass, swivel board racks, and the upgraded stereo with skylon interior speakers. With the options we have on our boat that is a fair price. Steven, let us know when you want to demo so we can set it up, sooner the better since we only have one Falcon V in stock and the tower does look good in person especially with the bimini open.
Old     (silverwake)      Join Date: May 2007       03-05-2008, 10:14 AM Reply
I like the tower and we got a lot of good feedback on it at our show. I was also amazed at how much head room you have under it. I'll bet an averaged sized guy could walk under it and speakers without ducking (well, at least a short guy could).

Brandon - I will have the V-Drive in about 4 weeks. It is a sold boat, but I will load it up and see what happens. I am very anxious to see the wake as well. I assume that it will be almost exactly like the 216/220 since it has the same hull. Also, If you want more information feel free to contact me. I can't sell you a boat, but I will be glad to give you the information that you are looking for. I am attaching a few wake pics of the 216/220 wake. we have quad ballast and three people in the boat. I'd say that the shape will be the same on the Falcon, but it will probably take a little more weight to get it larger.

Those Pictures look just like my Enzo 216/220 wake. I would totally agree with Nate! I am able to get a clean wake down to 15 to 16 mph and
Have absolutely no problem getting the wake the same on both sides. It is not near as sensitive to weight as the Storm boats. On the down side the rough water ride is not as good as the Storm boats., but it is still very good. Like Nate said it will take some more weight to get a bigger wake.

Chris did you say that you saw 50MPH on a GPS?
Old     (mars)      Join Date: Aug 2005       03-06-2008, 3:20 AM Reply
50 sounds high. Boat speed is largely determined by prop pitch/size and rpm (increasingly powerful engines allow you to turn a larger prop).
I would imagine Centruion is running the same prop on the SV 220 and Falcon V, the engines turn the same Rpm, the heavier boat will "slip" more but not enough for an 8mph diff.
Old     (towboat_222)      Join Date: Feb 2007       03-06-2008, 6:40 AM Reply
We got 49mph out of our first one on gps. Cant tell you why.
Old     (krbaugh)      Join Date: Mar 2002       03-06-2008, 6:56 AM Reply
That is fantastic My 216/220 hits 44ish on a good day. They did tweak the hull a bit but I would have bet money the speed would have been 45 46 at the most

gps don't lie.
Old    falcon_v            03-06-2008, 7:39 AM Reply
No the Gps said 50mph we could not beleive it so we used my Gps, and same results. The prop is an acme 13x17.5. Maybe I just have a pissed of 350mag just playing
Old     (mlb75)      Join Date: Aug 2007       03-06-2008, 7:53 AM Reply
The only other thing that could help you was if you were running with a good size current or tide but if your getting 50mph then good on ya you got a good wakeboat.
Old    falcon_v            03-06-2008, 8:34 AM Reply
I live in oklahoma we have no tide or current

How are you guys weighting the Enzo 220s for a good wakeboard wake? The one we have up here has the quad ballast.

I saw this boat at the show. It's very nice for the price. Don or Kevin, any idea if you can get this boat in all white? I know you can't get a solid color otherwise, but though white might be an option.

I checked you should be able to order all the color options as white and you will be good to go

Kevin,

I appreciate you checking on that. This looks like a great boat at a great price.

It is the same hull a foot shorter than my boat
so you know what the wake will be like

Centurion hit a grand slam with this boat great price ton of room looks great and is a VERY VERSITAL hull!

Saw the Falcon V at the sac boat show this weekend. Seemed like a really nice boat for the money. The one I looked at was 39,000.
