I'm looking to get some work done on my 88 sn2001. I don't want to spend to much money (I need to save it for gas) but I need some basic work done. Any recommendations?

Yeah,

See Neal (owner) or Jerry (Service Manager) at M20 Marine. They are the San Diego dealer for Correct Craft and Sanger. Great guys down there. My buddy & I were out test driving a new 226 with them last evening.

The guys at Boatland in Escondido are pretty good. I will not go to M20 anymore.

Out of curiosity, what kind of problems were you having with M20?

I spent a few thousand on some work and to fix a problem with the starter. I took it to the lake only to have the exact same problem with the starter not disengaging that I brought it in with. I drove it back to the shop and they fixed it for me in 5 minutes, but then later I had more problems. Although they dealt with the problems after I complained, it ruined my day out on the lake and if they had tested the boat at all after the work it wouldn't have happened. I think they have so many clients that they really don't care how they treat their clients, especially someone with an older boat. Thanks for your suggestions, I will definitely check out those places.
