Hey Cliff,

Did you get the Recoil or the Response? I plan to get one and I'm leaning towards the Recoil since it is a little less flexy than the Response and would probably make the transition a little easier.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks.

i rode the recoil and it was pretty cool. the water wasnt very good but it was definately a different feel. it was very responsive and almost rode like a roam on the surface but it still held a good edge and had good pop

Vlxray,
The Recoil is a good choice to start out on. The board will take you a couple rides to get the feeling. It is so noticeably(spelling is not my thing) different, it is like riding a snowboard on the water with so much pop.

Thanks for the info jrad. I'm going to try the Recoil. I really like the idea of a board with a true engineered flex pattern and the boots look sick.
