yes, inside the boat ....
2 speakers in the dash
and 2 speakers in the back next to the seat

yes,

if the speaker efficency is 93-100 db and the amp is very, very high quality usa made.

Wanted to go with a Profile AP 1040 amp.
4 channel
80 watt x 4 @ 4 ohms

the speakers I"m looking at are 91db efficiency

Insulate the motorbox, see www.malibuboatowners.com for details then you will hear the music for sure.

would maybe suggest a different anp..

if new, crossfire makes a decent amp (have also heard good things about orion )
if used, jl,kicker zr series (very,very good amps for the money, highly underrated specs),zapco

btw, if you havent bought your speakers yet, would suggest image dynamic ctx series (excellent speakers(coaxial) for the money and you would have to spend 2x-3x as much do better)
