"So knock it off"? I havent heard that since I was a kid. My dad used to yell that from the drivers seat of the car as he was turning around to smack me. Thanks for the flashback will5150.

Put them side by side and do a comparison . The cup holders on the floor the interior walls being multiple pieces no snap in carpet are the first things I notice ,a fugly swim step and the number one item in my eyes is the dash equivelant to a pontoon boat . The Tige top deck nose area looks good the head lights make it look like a hammerhead shark the upholstery is not as nice as MC but both CC and Malibu rule that dept. The tower looks like it was designed and built in a day ......

Yeah- I guess I'm showing all of my 40 years as I STILL yell that at the boys from time to time!

No your an idiot because in 2 threads containing nothing but pointless argument you decide it's a good idea to bring them back. If it was just this one I could understand, but what was the point of bringing a thread that been gone for almost a month back? If you can think of ANY good reason I'll happily retract the above statement.

Mitchj,

What boat has interior walls in multiple pieces? Tige's deck and interior are all one piece. The floor is Penske Composite and aluminum. Take a closer look at the tower, as it was built by the same company that mfgs the X-star tower, and is a more rigid, easier folding design. The crossbar adds stability, and the uprights fold into the boat. There are also no visible wire looms for lights speakers, etc. I agree on the swimstep, I prefer teak myself.

I don't get mad nor upset about people posting valid opinions or having intelligent conversations. What got me is why you went back to something that was long dead and brought it back. As I'm in essence doing the same thing thats all I have to say about the subject. Cheers

that thing is PIMPIN'. Beautiful color blue. I've got a friend with the RZ4(I think that's the 24 footer model name?) on order. Can't wait to check it out.

Why is it the Mastercraft owners that get blown all up when a nice boat comes to the board that isnt a MC? Or is it the same group doing it?

BIG E,
It is because people like you who cannot see that other boat manufacturs have copied from what MC has brought to the market. Sorta gets boring when you hear the statement "Its just as good as a Mastercraft" If it was so damn good you would'nt have to say that!

FIRST. Pickle fork boats have been around along time. No one disputes that. MC was the first wakeboard/ski boat company to bring it to this industry niche.
SECOND Another EXAMPLE, not related to MC... the new WAKECRAFT Cmon Mr. Boat designer. It has "MALIBU COPY" written all over it inside and out! Be a little more original than that. Hey it maybe a great boat I don't know, but at least come up with a more original name than what your motor is called, a ZR whatever.

THIRD How many companies are playing catchup on the PICLKE FORK inboard market ? TIGE, MB Sports and 1 other, Look at the tower on that TIGE Looks like an 06 MC tower to me. Look at the GOTHIC graphics on your BU. MC started the GOTHIC grapics. Why do you think they changed? Correct Craft WASNOT the first boat company to add a tower. They applied for a WB tower patent and got it. Good for them.. To bad they make the most ridiculous tower in the industry. You need to be damn near 7ft tall to take the damn thing down. Swivel board racks, MC started it and everyone is playing catch up placing after market stuff on the tower legs. Copying is the highest form of flattery. I think some of you BU owners are pissed off that you did not spend a little more and buy a MC. A boat like the X-stat does not win the Wakeboard boat of choice 3 years in a row for no reason...it is NOT a bought award. Try and name me a first that was completed behind a Bu or a TIGE. If you do more power to ya !!! Done for today

TK,

Brilliant post. I think you just revalidated Big E's post, you just did exactly what he talked about

KC,
WOW, i would think you have summed it up for us. You are a true leader.
I like the part where you state (Qoute)" I think some of you BU owners are pissed off that you did not spend a little more and buy a MC ".

I own a MC, love my X2 but have to say I am very impressed with the RZ2. It was the only other boat at the show I would have even considered if I was buying this year. Competition only makes each brand stronger.

TK - Tige was the first to use the trim tab on a wakeboard boat. Now most everyone has boats with them, including MC. Every manufacturer takes good ideas and tries to improve on them.

MC makes a terrific boat, no doubt about it. They have some great ideas. I can see where MC owners would be irritated to see their ideas copied, but MC is guilty of that as well.

That is a really classy lookin boat Andy. Do they give you the option to delete that graphic package? I think it would look a bit nicer with that classic Tige Stripe graphic from last year.

Eric,

Thanks for the feedback. These are the new RZ2 graphics, and the only style available for the RZ2 although they do have other color options. I'm not sure if the old graphic would fit as the hull shape is quite a bit different. You can go to the website and play around with looking at different options, it's a neat tool. http://www.h2osportsunlimited.com/custom.html

Thanks

The nerve of some builders. Sheesh.

Your truck better not have wheels on it.

Same Hull, but 2 ft longer. Rumors say should be out in the next month or two.

Brett-
The RZ4 is coming but Tige has not released any info at this point. Plan on it to hold about 16-18 people (stickered) and weight in at 4400 lbs. My guess they will be using the same 47 gal gas tank as well. Overall the boat will feel much bigger than the 24 Ve but will ride and drive the same (it will have the same wetting surface). I think we will see the first RZ4's in late spring earlly summer.

Thanks for the info Coach! I really dig the trend of towboat manufacturers putting out the larger models for those of us with large families.

Sweet blue RZ2 Andy. Who did the installation on the Kicker stereo system? I am a big fan of the Kicker SoloBaric subs. Who is the manufacturer of the cans?

I have a 20v that has been nothing but fun. Pump gas and go. I am upgrading to th RZ2 this summer. I heard rumors of the RZ0 which would be the 20ft version. Should be nice. Anyone else heard of the RZ0?
Old     (evil0ne)      Join Date: Sep 2006       02-11-2007, 9:27 AM Reply
Never heard of a 20', but there should be a 24' coming soon. It would make sense to put on a 20' to get more people in the smaller boats.

I'm sure Tige has thought about making a 20 foot version but it doesn't seem like it is going to be in the production line for 08 maybe 09. they are making another model with the pickle fork right now besides the RZ4. it'll probably be out in 08 i'm guessing.
