The speakers are the polk db651. We have four on the tower and four in the boat. They really do scream and I was overly impressed as to how well they sounded. The Amp is a four channel Alpine. It is super strong and I knew it would do the trick. I have the speakers wired down to two ohms each. That way I have each channel on the amp powering two speakers. Each speaker is getting approximately 40-60 watts rms. I don't care what people say about you need a minimum of 100 watts rms to hear the sound behind the boat... well they didn't hear this setup. She really screams and pumps out the music. Again, thoroughly impressed. We mounted the cd player in the "glove box." We used two L-brackets and screwed the base down to the side. Once we made sure the distance was right, we bolted it into the cd player. All cd decks have little mounting holes on the side of them. We found the appropriate bolt and bolted it in. No movement there. We purchased the tower speakers and cans together from an ebay dealer. Once I figured out what speakers they were we bought the same speakers for the boat on ebay. The cd deck was a friend of ours from his old car. The cd player doesn't work, but we only use it for the iPod anyways. We set the volume on the deck and control the volume through the iPod. Works amazingly well. If you're ever in the Fargo area, give us a shout.
