Billy has been killin it on the new Marius. The board is a lot faster (so he says). He had to shorten his cut a little to adjust.

Most of the increased speed / decreased drag is said to come from the shortening of the molded fins which now stop far short of the tip and tail. This seems to be the formula for fast boards.

I wonder if it is a little tighter when finless than the 07. The 07 was fun without fins, but IMO a little too loose without, however, too grippy with. Hopefully they found a happy medium

J-rod, I have been very close on a few. I have not tried that many since the trip cuz my elbow (where I broke it, over the winter) has been killing me. Its the arm that I throw the Big Worm with. I have not rode much and when I do its more just to get out than anything. It is starting to feel a lil better. I hope by the end of the week I feel good and can get out and give it a few good trys.
