I just got back from the lake it's the first time I've been on a board since I blew out my eardrum and I was trying to get back in the groove and stop worrying about catchin' an edge so I was screwin' around and doing some surface tricks to loosen up but every time I went to jump the wake I would screw it up and loose balance in the air and land all jacked up . . . On the wakeskate it was even worse I started out doing surface tricks but couldn't get the feel for it tonight I caught an edge twice and got launched across the wake I still had fun but it was kinda discouraging

.....do everything you know you can stick without falling.......ollies....slides etc.....one wake jumps.......once you have done a bunch of stuff without falling period.....you will start to feel much better......then you just throw a jump early into your next run when your feeling strong. Avoid jumping later in your run for now when your concentration starts to wane and you might be weaker physically (although you won't think you are)....thats when the bad jumps and crashes start.
Yea I'll try that out tonight my new fat sacs are coming in today so I'll be back out there after work and hopefully my helmet will be in today thanks for the help and suggestions this has only been my 2nd boardin' injury and I'm sure there are many more to come . . . . Hey Luker when you blew out your eardrum did you get the wonderful garlic taste in your mouth ?
