load them into photoshop and resize them using the tab that says image size.... try for 600x400px or so...that usually is pretty manageable.

You can also re-size them in MS paint.

R these programs in my laptop or do i need to buy them? have ms office 2000 on a dell laptop. like i said, technically challenged. i need specifics if i'm to be able to share my "bun" pics with all of you. I have all my photos loaded to harddrive in albums but i can't find anything like your describing

search and download MS powertoys picture resizer, you can select a group and batch resize to your hearts content with a simple right click.
