Tuning Subwoofer and Plexi question.

I am about to build a box for a 15" Kicker L7 Solobaric. First off, what thickness of plexiglass should I use? Second, This sub is going to be ported - what Frequency should I tune to for optimal loudness? We listen to mainly punk when wakeboarding but a lot of rap when the chicks are looking hot and dancing

My initial thoughts are 1) 3/4" Plexi with 3/4" MDF for construction and 2) 38hz for tuning.
