if you can get a jet ski / PWC in front of the dock, tie it off to both poles at the opening of the slip. Use the jet action of the water to blow out the mud under the dock. Have some guys with shovels to keep breaking up the mud as it gets hit with the jet wash. You can do the same thing with an outboard motor, especially if you tilt it up. You don't want the stream of water going down at much of an angle. An inboard will push the water down too steep. You can move a ton of material this way. Our lake was at record lows last year and we got creative to be able to get the boat in the slip. To keep it out, you may have to build a retaining wall with treated lumber, mounted to the poles of the dock.
