Are you like 8 years old? Seriously that whole first post needs to be rephrased.

Now, are you trying to say you are loosing your balance when the hing touches the water? If so, there is no way to fix that. Maybe move your binding forward if it is that big of a problem (which it shouldn't be).

I cant imagin you loosing your balance just because of two little metal things cutting through the water. Suck it up and keep trying. Eventually you wont even notice when you edge hard.

you cant be serious. Do you know how to edge? My son rides the hinge and he edges very hard for raley tricks and he has never had a complaint about the hinge touching the water. Are you bending at the waist when you edge in on your heels.

lay your board on the ground and look at the angle is has it be at before the hinges touch, I dont think you could ride that out. I don't think the hinges are the problem.

my bro. that rides with me ,started last year. he got the hinge , the only problem he had with them was the pull strap broke, Ambush ( being the great co. they are )gave him 07s this year.he tried his 1st air trick 2 days ago HE DID NOT have a problem. Its very possible you got your heels to far back. Hey if they made them closed toe i would have a few pair myself!15 years or so ridding

The hinge is supposed to be in the up position when you ride...

You guys are so harsh, maybe he's dyslexic.
Close hinge before riding!

Random musing prompted by this kid's personal quote: Nietzsche must not have known much about arthritis.
