since my only ride for wakeskating is a jetski i was wanting to put 2 tower speakers on the back of the jetski like level with the seat. does anyone know the best route for me to go on this? ive seen it done, as one of the pros has it on his jetskis. i just dont understand how you would wire for power as it has a small battery and the harness would need an inline fuse i assume? if anyone could help me that would be really awesome of you.

I think it was done on a SeaDoo wake edition that has a small extendable pylon on the back. I remeber seeing the pics on wakeskating.com and it looked like they were somehow mounted to the pylon.

You have to put the head unit and amp in a sealed location on the ski. Or you can use a amp with a ipod running directly into it. Tou may also make the stereo accessable but have to be very careful to keep it dry. The biggest prob is power. The ski only has a small generator, so keeping the battery charged can be a chore.

^I agree with Art. Screw mounting the stereo, too much work for something that you will more than likely not be able to hear over the moan of the jetski engine anyway.

Just get a waterproof Mp3 system for the cost that you would have to put into just the head unit or the amp.

PWCs generally do not have much of a charging system. Since they run no lights or standard accessories they generally have just enough output to recharge the battery.

A stereo system that put out enough watts to be heard over the engine drain the tiny PWC battery in a matter of minutes, even with the engine running WOT
