Whats preferred, what do most use.

I was looking at the JetPilot F22 FlightJacket and the CrownJewel boardshorts...they come with a wetsuit type liner right????

no its not a wetsuit liner, its flex lite neoprene. It's more for comfort than staying warm. I have it on my jet pilot falcon vest and it's not going to keep you warm, but you can get neoprene shorts to wear under your boardshorts:

These are what you would need.

I use that same combo of the F22 heater top and the crown jewel shorts. the neo whatever liner is very helpful. I rode this combo til about October here in TX.

After that I went to a Jet Pilot full wetsuit and now am waiting for the weather to either heat up or a find a good deal on a drysuit before riding again.

ONEILL Psycho 2 4/3 you hardly get wet. We use it in 43 degree water, very flexable.

Depends on the Air and water temp. I use all three depending on the temp outside. I try to stray away from the Full-Suit you feel like a rubberband in one. I would rather rock a drysuit than a full wetsuit.
