my new ride

this past summer I won a walker board at the scioto wakefest. It arrived last week and I am amazed by this board.
I tried it with wax and was concerned about getting wax on everything, so I currently have gator grip. I was concerned that this board may be too advanced for me (only been surfing since May 06), but I love it!
here is a couple of pics from this past weekend.
the wake is kinda weak 3 people in the boat and a 500# bag in the rear locker

Mike, that’s great I’m glad to see that you shared a little of your experience with the Walker board. Mike Walker sent the green board back out to me for a wakesurfing gathering in Indiana last month. I’m kind of big for the board but rode it anyway when it came in, Like I thought I’m too big. Well we we’re out riding yesterday and I took the Walker board out for another ride. I slowed the boat down to 8.5 and rode it slow, it felt pretty good. I bumped the speed up until I eventually got to 9.5 mph. The board is still undersized but I had a pretty good time on it. A couple of other guys in the boat also enjoyed the board. Bill L. asked me to forward contact information on to Mike to see what it would take to order a slightly larger board.

Anyway congrats you’ve got a killer board.
