Lake Anderson, CA 11/19

Anyone go down there lately? Anyone gonna be there on 11/19?

I have a family dinner down there and figured I could get in some boarding prior to it.

Anyone know the lake temp? Should be about 75, wondering if I can still trunk it.

Just make sure you get there early and get as many runs in by around 1030-11am cuz after that it might get real choppy. I was there last fri and Sun and only got 1 run each day cuz on both days after 1030am the wind pick up fast and hard then it was very choppy.

Oh yeah, i wore my drysuit both days but with warm temps like the last few days and you can get away with shorts and a neoprene top. The water feels pretty cool.

I was wondering about the wind, all the reports say either almost none, or up to 10mph.

Anyone ride there in the last couple and can say what it has been doing?

ok im back! it was awesome, perfectly smooth, was starting to get wind ripples down the middle by 1030ish. I had my short wetsuit on and was fine, water was 65 by the time we left, and air was nice and warm!

I'll let you guys know tomorrow when i get back with some pics. I'll be there oin Sun too.

I just got back from Anderson and it was awesome. Left around 12pm and there was hardly any wind with good water still and only like 5-6 ski boats out there. Here's some pics from today. Im going tomorrow again.

Isaac- We should hook up and ride. We're out there and at the Delta year round with my friend's Sanger or a SN 2001 I've seen you out there last weekend too so i know you're always out riding.

Hyper- Just my guess, but i doknt know why they wouldnt be open. But you can always go online and check or call.

Went out again today.. unreal.. mid November and fricken hot out! Right side of the lake was glass till 2 when we left.. Riding was killer.. Landed my first 180 W2W today.. <--- Newb Rider (first season)

Yeah it was great today, it was still clean when we left around 1145. We were in one of the two blue v210's out today.

water was like that on the right side till we left in the afternoon as well.. left side seems to always chop up about 1130ish.. I only saw 1 v210 out there.. and there was a mobius out there 2 that I always seem to see as well.. there and calero..

there was another blue v210 that launched at the same time as we did, ours had the V210 graphic, the other had the sanger graphic, I hope the weather and water stays like this for a while...even though I can't wait for snow!

I just saw the one with the sanger graphics..

I also see a tan and black malibu out all the time as well..

We had a black extended pylon on it with 2 boards hanging off. Ive seen that tan & black bu out there before too. If we get out there it will be early too, probably around that same time.

Did you guys see the jet boat with someone riding behind it, that is hardcore riding. I wanted to take a picture but didn't see them again. You could here them half way across the lake.

I saw them as we were leaving. It looked like he had quite the motor in that boat.

I didnt see that... pretty nutty were they flying? was there a massive rooster tail spraying back at the rider?

They were cruising at riding speed and you can here that thing a mile away, they also had like four people in it which is a lot for that kind of boat.

so who is going out wed friday and sat?

Isaac, I cant make it on Wedn cuz of work. Not sure about the other days at this point cuz some people at work had already ask me about those days but if they flake out, im down to ride with you if you're going. Keep me posted on those dates. Thanks!

coo, we should be out there regardless.. I need to get my system all installed as well.. I might just do that thursday during the day and be rockin on the water on sat and sun..

Hey guys. Just caught this thread and I was the other blue V210 out last Sunday. Seems it's all wakeworlders out there these days.
I'll be out there Sunday, but in Craig (Wake Daddy's) Reinell (which puts out a nice wake with the 1000-1500lbs of fat sacs, concrete etc. that he has in there).

cool.. I might try to make it out sunday.. need to check the weather.

So I got there around I think 10 this morning. It was freezing cold out, and the wind was howling...my buddies and I looked at each other and said - uhh nah, its ridiculous out there. So we left and got breakfast. If we had a boat that had ballast tanks and all that, we probably would have stuck around, but the fact that we have to hand fill about 4 fat sacs just didnt seem appealing in that cold 30 mile an hour wind (it seemed at least). But for those of you that went out, I hope you had a good time. I passed 2 malibus on the way down.

That's the crazy SOB we saw trunking it yesterday!
We got there at 8, literally just us and 1 fishing boat for the first hour or so. There was no wind and the lake was glass until we left around 2. Damn it was chilly when we first got out. When I was trying to get the ice off my windshield at 7:30 I was starting to wonder if this was such a good idea. Warmed up nicely by mid-morning though with the sun out.
It's days like Sunday that make Anderson so nice in the winter. Now if only everyone would follow the no power turns rule on a glassy, empty lake we'd be set.

naw I wasnt trunking it, just the board shorts on the out side of the wetsuit, gotta be cool. My friend did go trunking for wakesurfing, he was just a lil cold.

It was a bit wit neepy.. we were in spring suits on sunday as well
