It is a 2006 Maristar 200VRS with a tower and ballast, so if you want to be picky....
Let's call it a X2 in disguise.

i'd buy that over the x-2...that gel scheme is much more aesthetically appealing than the "looks like the dipped the tansom in paint" look. especially that oraange and white one. it looks like a 50/50 bar.

That is not all! Is anybody up for getting away from the cold to go to Orlando for a weekend this winter? On October 1st at Fallout, we will be giving away trips to Orlando for a weekend to Team Red Bull professional wakeboarders Nick and Julz Heaney's wakeboard school! ^^^mike, no i'm talking about the main press photos of the 2006 x-2, the roange and white one. that one is ugly. the blue one psted here is gorgeous and i am not a mc guy.

The only new MC graphics\gelcoat that I didn't really like was the X-star scribbles but they are growing on me already plus I think it will look better in the water....but the new X-2 the orange and the white one,I really liked and I really like this Maristar.

I dont know if the 06 maristar has the same hull as the 06 X2, dont think so it never has been in the past so if thats the case I would much rather have an 06 X2, because the wake has always been alot better than the Maristar, and thats why you buy a Wakeboard boat is for is the wake, Right? Or should I say that is what I buy a wakeboard boat for THE WAKE, not the Gel coat.

That is one nice looking color for a boat. I think the hull looks the same. Have to go lookup the other thread.

Actually Jeff, the '06 X-2 is the same hull as the '06 Maristar 200, both new boats for '06.
Historically speaking, the X-10, X-30, X-45 and X-80 all have had corresponding hulls in the Maristar Lineup (Maristar 210, 230, 245 and 280).
The only difference in the X version of these Maristars is ballast, towers, graphics, etc.
If you're in the midwest, pack up and head to Ottawa, IL.
